How? The CFAR!

There are 435 congressional seats and 34 senate seats up for election in November 2024.

That’s a total of 469 seats up for grabs.  This means we are faced with a Herculean task!  But it’s got to be done.  We need to win every one of those contests, electing candidates who are on the side of everyday citizens.  Without a truly “people’s Congress”, NOTHING will change!

Thus . . .

In each and every congressional district and in each and every senate race, we must identify ONE CANDIDATE who supports a genuine populist “people’s” agenda.

Why?  Because there are a host of important things the vast majority of everyday citizens want done — the very things THAT DON’T GET DONE with our current batch of puppets in Congress, doing the bidding of their ruling class masters.  If we can unite the public in a huge national voting bloc in support of these populist initiatives, we can take over Congress in the next election!

Look at these numbers from recent highly-reliable, reputable polls:

74% of Americans want a federal minimum wage of $20.00 per hour.
86% of voters want fair trade agreements protecting jobs, workers, the environment.
61% of voters want a cut back on military spending.
88% of voters want no reductions in Social Security; 82% of voters support expanding it.
69% of voters want a public option which provides truly affordable, universal health care, and/or Medicare-4-All.
72% of voters are dissatisfied with current policies to reduce or control crime.
80% of voters oppose the “Citizens United” U.S. Supreme Court decision.
67% of voters think taxes on the wealthy should be increased.
69% of voters think corporations should be required to pay their fair share in taxes.
83% of voters support massive infrastructure renewal.
65% of voters want laws to combat climate change.
65% of voters want tuition-free public colleges and universities.
84% of voters believe valid photo ID should be required to vote.  63% of want the President of the United States elected by popular vote. 71% want early voting to be made easier. 75% of want early voting to be held for two weeks. 74% want election day to be an official legal holiday. 65% support same-day voter registration.

If we can prove to the voting public that there are good, honest, hard-working candidates who will work for them and faithfully represent their interests when they arrive in Washington DC, we can oust the do-nothing incumbents and install a “people’s Congress”.

Our democracy might actually start working again the way it’s supposed to.

But here’s what we’re up against.  After the excitement and enormous groundswell created by Bernie Sanders in his 2016 presidential bid, and currently with Robert F Kennedy, Jr.’s campaign for the presidency in 2024, the public enthusiasm hasn’t escaped the notice of the establishment candidates.  These hypocrites know a good thing when they see it and are already massaging their campaign speeches, twisting the language, tailoring their rhetoric, inserting the necessary lip-service to these popular ideas, confident that if they can “sound” like they’re saying the right things, it’ll mean enough votes they can win the election.  You and I know it’s all image and no substance.  But . . .

It’s way too easy for the average voter to get confused, to get sucked in by smooth talk and slick advertising, hypnotic TV ads, clever memes, heartwarming photo ops, snappy sound bites.  One major problem with our current political environment is the sheer amount of nonsense, propaganda, grandstanding, showboating, the tsunami of empty campaign rhetoric, carefully crafted disinformation and mindless television ads — the overwhelming amount of pure bullsh*t the voting public is subjected to!

So . . .

How does the voting public know if a candidate is truly on board?  How does a voter distinguish between a slick dissembler who is just blowing smoke, and a genuine “people’s” candidate who will fight for making the above proposals the law of the land?  How do we know a true populist “people’s” candidate when we see one?

Simple!  We put the genuinely populist “people’s” candidate UNDER CONTRACT.  That’s right.  We have that individual sign a contract — called the Contract For American Renewal, or CFAR — committing them to do the right thing and faithfully serve the people who elected him or her into office.  When the candidate signs the contract, the voting public will know for sure that individual is on their side, THAT PERSON DESERVES THEIR VOTES!

At the same time . . .

The-Ultimatum_2If a candidate refuses to sign, we now know that regardless of what is said — campaign promises, pleasant rhetoric, beautiful television ads — that person does not deserve our vote.

It’s that simple!

The CFAR takes the guesswork out of voting.

It inserts certainty into the difficult business of deciding who to trust and who to vote for.

No contract.  No vote.

No excuses.  No equivocation.

No negotiation.  No compromise.

Do you see how this works?

A candidate who refuses to sign the CFAR is playing games, peddling empty rhetoric and hollow campaign promises.

A candidate who gladly signs it is THE REAL DEAL!

This is democracy at its best!

The CFAR is a shared commitment directly between people’s candidates and their future constituents.  It guarantees real choice in each and every contest.  Voters will be able to clearly see the difference and make an informed decision.

The CFAR also tells us where we should put our energy.  Because it reflects the will of vast majorities of everyday citizens, we will know with confidence that if we work hard to get those candidates who signed it elected, we’ll finally start seeing some serious results.  Our votes will actually make a difference because the people we send to Washington DC are going there to make a difference.  How do we know?  They put it in writing! It’s an ironclad agreement with each and every one of us, their future constituents — a contract which the CFAR candidate honors as legally-binding — to faithfully serve the folks who voted them into office.

NOW LET’S LOOK CLOSELY AT THE GAME-CHANGING CFAR!
